VESD Robotics Competition 2020
The VESD Robotics Competition is the culminating event for students who participate in the Robotics Program at their school sites. As robotics engineers, students compete by forming an alliance with other teams, working together to earn points.

VESD Maintenance and Operations Day
5th Grade field trip to observe staff demonstrations and speak to the 21st Century Skills needed for their respective positions.  Departments involved include: Maintenance and Operations, Nutrition Services, Purchasing/Warehouse, and Technology departments.

City of Victorville
Public Works Day

Public Works is a partnership with the City of Victorville.  Public Works City employees will speak to 4th Grade students about their careers and describe the duties and 21st Century Skills pertinent to each division, with 10 rotations from recycling to fleet maintenance and more.  Kids will also get to see snazzy equipment employees use and be able to ask questions about Public Works careers.  Public Works is aligned to our careers curriculum.

VESD College and Career Fair

The VESD College and Career Fair is a district-wide event open to all VESD students and their families. This event provides an opportunity for TK through sixth grade students to display and present their culminating career projects. In addition, many community partners create interactive booths where students can learn about a wide range of educational and career opportunities.
